Rwanda Ranked Among Top Vegan Safari destinations in Africa

“People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals” (PETA.org), an activist organization that was established in 1980 with the goal to defend animal rights recently published its top five destinations for Vegan safaris in Africa.

Vegan safaris are a new form of safaris that seek to emphasize animal rights through vegan diets as well as abstaining from the use of animal-related products. They are predicated upon the belief that animals are not experiment tools, food to eat, items for entertainment, or source of materials to wear.

According to PETA, a quarter of African safari travelers are either Vegans or Vegetarians. This implies that the best destinations for such travelers are places where there is a major emphasis on vegetarian diets, as well as products that are produced without cruelty.

Among the top Vegan safaris destinations according to PETA include; Rwanda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia.

It should be noted that Vegan safaris do not differ much from traditional African safaris. It is the same sights and sounds. The only difference is in the lodges and the diet. You, therefore, explore the same Rwanda popular destinations. Among the popular activities to do in Rwanda include the following;
